If you would like the luxury of literally walking from the hotel to the Terminal then the Sofitel at the North Terminal will allow to do just that, but bear in mind it is one of the more expensive Gatwick Airport Hotels, It has all the facilities you would expect of a hotel of this class.

The Gatwick South Hilton hotel is ideally located offering top quality accommodation and excellent facilities, allowing you to relax and unwind in style. Gatwick Airport Hotel - South

The South Terminal is Gatwick's oldest terminal, home to nearly 50 airlines handling domestic, international and charter flights.

The Marriot is a great hotel just 5 mins from the terminal building, usually offering great parking deals if you stay one night, it makes a great way to start a holiday, ensuing that you arrive at the airport less stressed and already in the holiday mood.

The Hilton is connected to the South terminal by a covered walkway, so is very convenient, but as you'd expect you will pay for the privilege. The hotel has family rooms for up to 5 people, the rooms all have a Playstation and at the time of writing kids under 10 eat free.

For those on a smaller budget then the Gatwick Skylane will get you an en-suite room and evening meals or breakfast in the Wheel bar.

The Mercure has great facilities for the business traveller, with 16 conference rooms, a fully equipped business centre and Wi-Fi access, only 5 mins journey to the Soouth Terminal

Gatwick Airport Hotel - Off Concourse

As you would expect the greatest choice of hotels is actually away from the Airport complex itself.

The Park Inn at Thurrock is a Georgian Manor house set in it's own parkland setting, with a tennis court and golf on site. It is also near to the 2 large shoChatpping complexes, Bluewater and Lakeside.

Gatwick Belmont Hotel, is close to the Airport but not on the flight path which is good to bear in mind. A superbly run famliy owned hotel with all the amenities you could need. On site pub, free internet access are just some of the benefits.
